Cookery Classes & Celebrity Demo Nights

Sham’s cookery classes are lively and entertaining while sharing how to prepare meals using locally produced, seasonal ingredients with an Asian twist. Private groups can also enjoy a tailored class in The Cottage Restaurant or a venue of their choice. Working with MyKitchen, Carrick on Shannon, Sham has launched a Summer 2024 demonstration programme spanning Irish, Thai; Indian; Pakistani; Malaysian; Chinese cuisines. To date he has welcomed well-known chefs, Derry Clarke, Paul Flynn, Takashi Miyazaki and Ghai Sunil…but watch our social channels for who is next!!

Sham brings energy and creativity to his classes as well as an infectious passion for food. Sham regularly does demonstrations for Restaurant Association of Ireland events including the RDS Hospitality Expo and Bloom. He also works regularly with Calor Gas and gave a series a demonstrations at Catering Expo. Closer to home, Sham is a lead instigator of the Taste of Carrick event held in early June and hosted a series of cookery demonstrations at this busy food celebration.
